How Bett1 reduced SEA costs by 43%
The Challenge
Since 2023, Bett1.de has been using Exactag’s dynamic attribution to independently and fairly evaluate marketing activities based on their actual impact along the customer journey. For its SEA activities, Bett1.de primarily relied on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
Before introducing Exactag’s Attribution Push, Bett1 relied on the standard conversion tracking provided by Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. These conversions only reflected actions recorded within the respective platform, while valuable contributions from other marketing channels were ignored.
As a result, Bett1 faced fragmented data, limited optimization potential, and higher manual effort in campaign management. The company’s goal was to leverage its Exactag database for smarter SEA optimization and improved performance.
Bett1’s goal was to leverage its Exactag database for SEA optimization in order to improve campaign performance and bidding efficiency.
The Solution
Bett1 integrated Exactag’s automated bid management feature “Attribution Push“, which automates the transfer of detailed analysis results directly into Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, enabling faster, more accurate decision-making.
The solution builds on Exactag’s unique data foundation: a comprehensive dataset from multiple sources, analyzed through advanced algorithms for smarter bid optimization.
After a successful test run in the German market, Bett1 rolled out the solution to additional markets.

The Results
The impact was both immediate and substantial:
- Automation reduced the operational workload for campaign optimization.
- Within just a few months, SEA costs decreased by 43%.
- At the same time, key performance metrics improved sustainably, including Conversion Rate, CPO, and ROAS.
